I first learned hot wax (waxing without strips) 20 years ago.

I have used only this method ever since.

Since 1999 I have specialised in waxing, mainly Brazilians.

My beauty career started at Pamela Stevens in 1998, after there I moved on to the Urban Retreat at Harrods.

After almost 4 exciting years there I was head hunted by the legendary, Otylia Roberts to begin her specialist waxing team, where I stayed for 5 years.

After 9 tiring, commuting years, I moved to St Albans where I ventured out on my own and took on 2 members of staff who I trained in the hot wax method.

With eventually 3 children, after juggling the business and family for 8 years, life was hectic and when the girls at the St Albans salon also had their own babies, it was decision time.

My family came first, I closed the St Albans salon and relocated my business to my home in Dunstable. THE WAX SHACK!

At The Wax Shack I continue to use HOT wax and specialise in The Brazilian. I also offer Sugaring (legs only) which is another strip free method and lash and brow tinting.

Hot wax is by far the most superior waxing method. It's less painful, more effective, it's much kinder on sensitive skins especially waxing on the face and there is simply no other way to have a Brazilian bikini wax.

This method comes at a premium but I offer it at a considerable discount compared to London prices.

The Wax Shack is a clean, comfortable, beautiful space and I offer parking onsite.
